Cindy Webb - Teacher
After having two babies...I was searching for a method of self-care. I love reading about philosophy and I had been reading Autobiography of a Yogi in 1987. There was not an abundance of Yoga Teacher’s here in the valley at that time like there is today, however, Bea McDonald appeared on the roster to teach Hatha Yoga at Douglas County Recreation Department, and I signed up. “When the student is ready the teacher will appear”.
It was my intention to explore my community (Douglas County) for a way I can serve. A presentation of ULP was provided by Hannah and Diana at Carson City Yoga (where I teach), for volunteer services to teach trauma informed yoga for our local youth. That’s it! That’s what I wanted to do, take a new avenue with teaching yoga and meditation.
I enjoy to read a lot, take walks with my dog, yoga and meditation practices, entertaining friends and family, traveling to tropical regions and playing with my three grandchildren. I have had several mentors throughout my adult life and now in my retirement years I want to give back. Thank you for this opportunity to learn more and serve in gratitude.
