Luna Ward - Teacher
I started doing yoga as a warm up for dance class in high school. After experiencing the positive effects of a daily yoga practice, I became a firm believer in the healing and strengthening powers of yoga. I started a home practice then decided to pursue my 200 hour certification after I graduated high school.
Practicing yoga helped me gain self-confidence and self-awareness that has continued to help me overcome depression, anger issues, and self destructive behaviors. Yoga gave me a sense of peace and tranquility in my own body and breath I had never experienced previously. To me, it’s an honor to be able to facilitate this transformational experience for others.
Outside of ULP, I love to share my creative expression through hula hoop dance. I teach hoop dancing to people of all ages and perform at events, festivals, and community gatherings. Also I really enjoy listening to music, reading, painting, and traveling with my friends and family.
