I had be acquainted with it for some time, but yoga entered my body and my life when I made space for it, when I connected it with my breath, when I let it breathe me.
I deeply believe that adolescents and their personal, spiritual needs have been left behind in our culture. More than anything, they just need to know that the way they feel is ok, and they're already perfect.
Practicing ways to bring yoga to life, to cultivate enlightened living in all its aspects. This includes crafting moving prictures, reading dense spiritual and philosophical texts, enjoying smart and elegant design, exercising, cooking, learning to garden, spending time outside, and practicing presence for my wife and two Border Collies.
My Mantra: "If it's not a paradox, it's not divine."
AND "I make a commitment to do my very best (abhyasa) and leave the outcome to the Divine (viaragya)."
