Paige Lundquest - Teacher
I was a troubled teen and yoga entered my life exactly at the right time, when I needed it the most. A good friend of mine brought me to my first yoga class when I was 18. I went for the physical benefits and soon found that the emotional and mental benefits quickly followed.
What motivated me to get involved with ULP was the desire to make a real difference in youth lives. Baring witness to the positive transformation and healing in my own life from a solid yoga practice, I knew a part of my life path was to share the practice to communities that could benefit from it the most.
When I am not spending time in service to organizations like ULP, I spend my days in school for Counseling Psychology, hiking the Sierra Nevadas, enjoying Lake Tahoe, reading, going to concerts, and making art.
My Mantra: It’s not happening to you, it’s happening for you.
